These actuators, which use compressed air as their propellant, can store energy in the spring while it moves valves.

Instrument air low pressure powered piston type actuators are suitable to operate any linear or quarter turn valves. Their reliable high efficiency design makes them ideal for Upstream FPSO units and Oil fields, Midstream LNG, Downstream refineries.
